Rhythm: A Turntable

As a physical medium, vinyl is able to stay relevant in the digital age due to the tactile quality it possess. The design of this turntable aims to create a physical representation of sound.

 Inspiration

The final product was influenced by visual representations of rhythm, in particular drum sequencers and written percussion parts.

 Ideation

Exploring both the features of turntable and how to convey sound visually through the design.
